The Monashee Arts Council has been actively working on bringing artistic and cultural events to Lumby and the surrounding areas for almost two decades!
We take great pride in being able to support both our local artists and supporters of the arts. We are a dedicated group of volunteers (with the support of our Arts & Culture Program Coordinator, Jennifer Greenwood), who are committed to continuing this important work in the community. We always welcome new members to join us in our activities. What an achievement! From 5 people sitting around a kitchen table to today, with an employee, projects, support for groups and individuals, and of course, the Lumby Days celebration of all things artistic.
Wednesday Nov 13th is our official birthday! come and celebrate with us . 7 pm at the White Valley Community Centre share refreshments and planning for our next year .
