What we do:
The Monashee Arts Council host monthly shows throughout the year, from open themed shows to featured solo as well as groups. Exhibitions are chosen with consideration to our audience – the citizens of Lumby and surrounding area, as well as visitors to this area. MAC is committed to offering engaging art experiences and supporting all artists in our region.
The Gallery:
The Village Gallery is a small community-based Gallery perfect for small intimate shows
2 – 9’ x 8’ walls
2 – 46” x 46” slat wall cube walls

The Monashee Arts Council is a non-profit Society offering a permanent learning environment for the enjoyment, enhancement, and preservation of cultural heritage and art.
About our Call for Proposals (Eligibility)
We are looking ahead to exhibitions for 2027 and welcome proposals from artists for exhibitions in any media and in any subject area. These include solo, group exhibitions, and touring shows. Work and Artists must not have shown at the Village Gallery in the last 2 years, individually or in a group.
This does not include our monthly themed shows and we encourage all artists to share their work through those shows as well as our Public Curation Program.
Proposal Deadline
Proposals for the 2027 season must be received by October 1st, 2026.
