Call for Artists: “Peace & Love” Art Show

We are excited to announce an open call for artists to participate in our upcoming art show, “Peace & Love”. This exhibition invites creators of all mediums to explore and express the powerful themes of peace and love through their unique artistic lenses.

Theme:

Peace & Love is about celebrating harmony, compassion, and connection. We are looking for artwork that reflects the idea of unity, the pursuit of inner peace, global harmony, and the transformative power of love. Whether through abstract, figurative, or conceptual work, we encourage artists to delve into the vast potential of these themes, inviting viewers to reflect on how peace and love can shape both personal experiences and collective futures.

Showcase your artwork inspired by the theme at Summer of 69’ Lumby Days (June 13-15).

Come join us at Lumby Days on Saturday for an exciting Raku pottery experience!

Raku is a unique firing technique where ceramic pieces are pulled from a hot kiln and placed into combustible materials, creating stunning, unpredictable effects on the glaze.

You’ll have the chance to glaze your own piece, then watch as it’s fired and transformed right before your eyes. It’s a hands-on, interactive process that brings out beautiful, one-of-a-kind results.

Don’t miss this chance to get creative and take home a special, fired piece of art!
