The Village Gallery is a local artist-run co-op, located in the heart of the Village of Lumby.
The Lumby Arts Co-op members opened the Village Gallery in March of 2013. A small number of dedicated artists with a vision to open a storefront location for our local artists to show and sell their work.
The Village Gallery is now into its 6th year of operation. There are presently 35 artists exhibiting and displaying their art. The wide variety of art-forms and practices includ: pottery, woodwork, jewelry, visual art (painting), pressed flower art, barnwood creations, fibre arts, felting, weaving, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, photography, glasswork, and music.
The Village Gallery is located at 1975 Vernon Street (Hwy 6) in Lumby and shares space with the Monashee Arts Council, a group devoted to the support and development of the arts in Lumby and the surrounding areas.
The Lumby Arts Coop invites you to visit our local art gallery, and experience an exquisite array of artwork and gifts.
Regular hours of operation are Monday – Saturday 10am-4pm. We offer a wide selection of items, from the whimsical to the the functional, in every price range.
